Director, Power Delivery

Mahiyan has over 15 years of power delivery experience working with several large utilities across the United States. His background includes protection & control and substation physical engineering in EPC and EPCM delivery models. He has extensive Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation experience and is certified by both Siemens and ABB. Mahiyan is highly proficient in Data Center design and development – from high voltage power distribution to low voltage power systems with N+1 redundancy philosophy. He has also worked with developers on many Wind/Solar renewable projects from initial development through detailed design phases.

Mahiyan has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Central Missouri, a Master’s degree in Engineering (Power) from University of Wisconsin and Executive Master of Business Administration from Colorado Technical University. He also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and has executed several Six Sigma projects in the energy and corporate sectors.
